Hey sorry to hear you've encountered awful doctors. There is a massive issue with endo diagnosis.
My symptoms are:
Week before: pain when passing stools, pain when passing urine, increased frequency of urine, diarrhea/constipation, fatigue, nausea, appetite issues, reflux, dyspepsia type symptoms, pain on the inside of my upper thighs, back pain, general period type pain (6/10)
During period:
Very heavy that I leak a lot, at worst need to change my pad every 30 minutes. Extreme period pain, Extreme pain when passing stools, medium pain when passing urine, back pain escalates, reflux, dyspepsia, fatigue, Insomnia, low appetite, nausea, pain on the inside thigh gets worse. Severe night sweats and feel extremely unwell. Bad Tachycardia.
Day to day:
Can be extreme pain when passing stools, Insomnia, fatigue, general period pain type sensation. This varies and isn't every day. Reflux and dyspepsia but less intensity than during the period. Night sweats. Tachycardia.
Is your consultant an endo specialist? Have you had an MRI to check for deep endo?
My symptoms sound the same as you apart from the bleeding when passing stools I haven’t had an mri scan they sent me to gynaecologist after I had to cry down the phone also on my consent form they have said I consented to the marina coil but I definitely don’t want it and certainly didn’t agree to it I’m just feeling abit deflated right now I’m that certain I have endo just need this Diagnosis for my own mind my new symptoms this month is my eyes they won’t stop watering feeling so heavy amd the tiredness is definitely taking it’s told on me I’ve been coming on my period twice a month since January this year really staring to get me down Thankyou so much for this message I’m just waiting for my key hole surgery date think it may be delayed though I waited a year for my appointment with the gynaecologist
I really hope you get your lap date soon. You're not alone.
Are you taking Tranexamic Acid for the heavy bleeding. If not, it's much better than mefenamic acid.
Have they given you a good painkiller for the pain?
Have they given you omeprazole or lanzoprazole for the reflux? Did they check for h pylori?
I have done a lot of research on natural things that help reduce endo symptoms, so if you want that information please feel free to send me a private message.
My doctor hasn’t spoken to me about Tranexamic acid I’ll ask Thankyou so much
They haven’t given me any pain killers I just have my good old electric blanket and co Codimel
As for the reflux I’ve been on omeprazole since January I was on x2 40 mg but now I’m down to 1 20mg tablet a day as I’ve recently found out I’m gluten intolerant so cutting out wheat has really helped I’ve been tested for nothing just gave me tablets and said I’ll be on them the rest of my life !
I would love to know more natural ways of endo could you private message me I’m not sure how to do it as I’m new to this lol Thankyou so much for you’re help
