I have been recently diagnosed with endometriosis via pelvic ultrasound. And have been given combined pill (back to back) as a first course of treatment. Though its only been 10 days since I started taking the pill but there is no relief in fatigue (extreme) or bloating.
I do not take gluten or dairy at all - mostly following Low Fodmap diet. I try to go for a walk daily. I want to know - do these symptoms get better with the pill at some point or the only relief you get is through laparoscopy.
Thanks.

I have these exact same problems and have done for many years. I always thought i had a stomach condition which was being investigated so i was on low fodmap for over a year and antimicrobials but both bloating and fatigue stayed. I just found out last week i have endo with large cysts which explain bloating a bit better but i am really struggling when stomach gets larger/ extreme fatigue! 😞I was given the pill last week to do back to back but my issues have been prior to this
So its been 6 months now ... bloating is better but if i get endo pain then the bloating comes back. However, I am still struggling with fatigue .. have to take a nap during the day to feel myself again.
Hi. I took the combined pill for 2-3 months and it done nothing for me.. it didn’t lessen my pain or help with my fatigue. It just made me have very very bad mood swings to a point where I had to stop taking it.
I’ve also been on the progesterone pill. It was exact the same, it done nothing for me however no mood swings this time.
I kept my hopes up thinking my laparoscopy will be the end of all my issues and give me relief however now I’m 1.5 months post op and I’ve got no relief whatsoever. My daily pain is worse than before and my period pain is unbearable rn. However people have said it takes 6 months to settle down..
