Since the first of feb I’m now on my 5th bleed. Two weeks ago I had one day where I lightly bled bit heavier then spotting. On double dose mini pill really fed up of this crazy bleeds! Contraction pains too last night

I have adeno and endo and been bleeding for 16 months now, only had a 3 weeks break when given some northisterone. It’s sucks doesn’t it x

Oh no! I’ve been diagnosed adeno just not my endo yet on waiting list but that’s a long time to be bleeding straight! Hope your ok x

It’s really draining isn’t it, low iron too. Keep giving me tablets that don’t work x

I have been bleeding for a few months recently was but on northisterone and it seemed like it was going well. Unfortunately started bleeding today, it’s very disheartening and also scary. Had a scan recently abs have a small fibroid. But still waiting for follow up u to o explain why I’m bleeding.

Check that you are not becoming anaemic, request a blood test to GPs and ask for iron tablets that don't cause constipation. The ferritin levels should be 70 according to European standards, the NICE Guidelines are too low. x

Hiya,

I know its been a few months since you posted this but i would also ask to be checked for yeast infection. After many years of my mini pill i suddenly had loads of breakthrough bleeds last year that kept going on for weeks. After 5 months i started double dosing like you and i took an oral thrush tablet and everything stopped for 2 months before starting up again. I finally realised i had more discharge than usual (but its not something id normally keep tabs on) and had also developed 3 cysts on my cervix.. so i finally got that swab test id been asking for and they found thrush really high up next to my cervix opening which meant i didnt have the normal symtpoms of thrush and the oral capsule probably didnt quite get to it. But it did mean the thrush was causing irritation and bleeding even though the doctors kept saying to me "thrush doesnt cause bleeding".

Took a pessay then did the same 2 weeks later.. no bleeding for 2 months, cysts are gone and got another swab to confirm the thrush has gone. Im still double dosing though.

Just look out for any other symptoms you may have
