Histology report negative

So I had a hysterectomy 3 months ago. My uterus is positive for endometriosis however my ovary bowel and omental deposit were negative.

I was just told well it looked like endometriosis so I can be discharged from clinic.

I had endometriosis removed from all of pelvis, bowel and abdomen in 2019 and it was endometriosis.

Im just worried as I've found two lumps near my rib/ diaphragm area, right side and for the last 4 weeks or have struggled with my chest so just fear that its spread further a field again.

Has anyone else had a negative histology but gone off appearance as endometriosis?

Very confused and obviously im getting a second opinion the "histology isn't realiable" isn't quite resting my mind .

I can now walk and life has been 10 x better but the fight is far from over

Hi, in my first operation the lab said none of my samples were endo, it definitely was based on my symptoms and visually. The lab regularly gets it wrong for women who have taken the pill for a long time.

During my second operation they sent 6 samples to the lab, only one came back as endometriosis. So 11 samples, 1 positive result.

I really haven't worried about it, both consultants thought all the samples were endo, so I am happy with that.

I really hope the lumps are not endo. X

Me too I know its not cancer but if its endo the drama continues

I just can't believe the tests are reliable if i won some money Id definitely set up my own medical company
