I had surgery last November and was diagnosed with endometriosis. Lucky it was stage 1/2. I got the marina (IUD) put in during that surgery also.
I have a few questions: I still feel pain during sex, is this normal? I still get cramps at least every 3rd day, is this normal? For the last year, after I eat, I feel nauseous, I get bloated, I get an ache in the pit of my stomach and I get reflux. I’ve had multiple tests and cameras, and I have no infection or diagnosis. All the doctors say my endometriosis isn’t related to the stomach problems. Do you guys experience the same thing?
Anything you guys have found that helps?

I’ve had similar. Gynae after lap Feb last year referred to gastro as he said pains didn’t relate to endo. Various scans not showing much, gastro just said it’s gynae. I haven’t been able to eat much in over a year and gone from a size 16/18 to an 8, possibly 6. Had hysterectomy in November, and pains still didn’t go, although I don’t know if endo is still there as no notes about him looking anywhere else.I’m under dietician, but all I’ve got so far is fortisip, which as I’ve pointed out I don’t want to eat or drink much. Gastro app is end of May and desperately trying to bring this forward.
I’ve asked dietician about testing for SIBO, she’s passing to one of her colleagues who does testing, no idea when that will be.
I really hope you get better help than I’ve had. Let me know if you find something that works 🙂
😭 it’s so annoying not getting answers! I thought maybe it was my stomach as all the specialist said it isn’t related to endo but I feel like it has too be if there’s no answers elsewhere. I’m the same, I’ve gone from size 10 to 8/6 just from not wanting to eat anything, or I’ll have small portions. I hope you find some answers! Be sure to update ☺️🤍
What does your GP say about the weight loss and not eating? The suggestion about a food diary is a good idea, Ive tried cutting out various things, lactose free helps my sinuses but not the intestines.
