Blood test- high b12 but low folate?

hi I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge in having a high b12 level but just above the deficiency level for folate ?

B12 and folate are co-factors. I found this out after I started taking a B12 supplement and trashed my folate level...

Are you taking a B12 supplement? Or is your diet low in foods the contain folate?

If neither of those, I'd discuss it with your GP. There is something called a MHFR gene mutation that affects your folate uptake.

Hiya , I haven’t taken a b vitamin supplement for around 5-6 months at least. I do try and eat some fruit and veg every day even if it’s a piece or two. my b12 is around 940 something and folate is considered just about clinically normal at 10.19
