Hi I have a question If some could help me with it, so basically I have endometriosis stage 4 diagnosed in September last year and a endo cyst removed and a hsg test while they did a key hole surgery to see what I had. Since then they said they have referred me to a endometriosis center for a operation , while I'm wating on a date for that I have been told by the doctor to try fir a baby as my tubes are working nd stuff but not happening. I'm worried that if I continue to bleed my endo will get worse and is it a chance it could effect my tubes and ovaries? Like damage me more I'm really struggling and dont know to get a zoladex infections?

Hi Meworange,

A gynaecologist would be the best person to answer that.

Your symptoms (level of pain) and priorities (seeking pregnancy or not) will help to guide the conversation.

With stage 4 endo it can be difficult to get pregnant anyway so keep waiting for the appt but do mention how important fertility is to you. I wouldn’t recommend zoladex as it rarely helps serve endo and will put you into menopause and there really isn’t enough evidence to say what the long term impact is on fertility.

Really that is what I'm worried about as long as it dose not effect my fertility im thinking of taking netheortrion tablets instead basically stops ur periods anyhow so works the same
