I have been diagnosed with stage 4 endo and I have 3 endometrioma cysts. The ultrasound confirmed the cysts and the MRI discovered the endo.
My consultant said he could fix me and that I could still conceive naturally. Both my ovaries are stuck together. I have some endo on the bowel, but not inside it which is a relief. Even though I am in shock and disbelief with all of this, I was relieved that it wasn't the big C.
He also mentioned I was probably born with it as a lot of evidence is pointing towards being born with this horrid condition.
His confidence and words that he can fix me has eased my anxiety a hell of a lot. I'm reaching out to ladies out there who have been diagnosed with the same or similar condition - did you conceive after surgery? Some positive stories always help.
I am 39 and we have been trying to conceive for 4 years. I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility after various tests including HSG but no scan to check ovaries.
Hey, I have endo but not yet tried to conceive. I know that surgeons say that the best and most successful time to get pregnant is just after a laparoscopy to remove all the endo so hopefully you’ll be able to conceive post op once your ovaries etc are clear 🤞🏻 xx
Good luck with your bowel op. I guess you have to keep positive with all of this and keep the thought of trying to conceive in your mind. That's what is keeping me going X
