Symptoms? Opinions/advice needed.

(Sorry for long post)

I have been getting symptoms(?) for a while and was wondering if anyone had experienced the same and whether you had to push for further investigation.

I have been to the doctor a couple of times for various symptoms who suggested I worried a lot and has booked me in for physio on my back however I think there’s more to it than that.

I have never had ‘normal’ periods - started age 9/10. Really heavy and prolonged to the point I would never stop bleeding or have a day or two between bleeds, so I have never had a regular cycle. Have been on various methods of birth control for it from age 14 - pill, injection, now on the mini pill.

My symptoms (6 months plus) include (and come monthly lasting around 10-14 days at a time and then nothing):

Pelvic pain - including hips, groin, inner thighs. (Worse on LHS). (In January I woke up 4 nights in a row to Extreme pelvic pain that lasted around 30mins each time).

Occasional knee pain

Lower back pain (mild to severe)

Frequent need to urinate

Occasional dizziness and lightheaded

Brain fog

Tired

Low blood pressure and poor circulation

None of the above has prevented me from doing anything but it’s been going on for such a long time now. I am a healthy weight and am physically active (26yrs). I had blood tests earlier in the year which were all normal apart from low cortisol.

I was on depo provera for a few years and didn’t have any symptoms, all of this has started since coming off that. Could this be as simple as a random onset of PMS or do you think I push for further investigation?

Any advice/opinions wanted 🙂
