Haven’t yet been diagnosed with anything but I literally can’t cope with the pain anymore 😣😣😣

Symptoms are:

Agonising lower back pain but eases of through out the day.

Bloat.

Painful ovulation that cause other symptoms to get 10x worst

Low mood and motivation

Painful sex at times

All symptoms ease a little when I get my period

Suppose I just want to know if this is anyone else’s symptoms...

I had CA-125 bloods done last week, still awaiting result, due a pelvis scan and a gynaecologist appointment.

Xxx

What pain meds are you taking?

Paracetamol and ibuprofen doesn’t shift the pain so recently I have been taking cocodamol, at the minute I’m sitting with a hot water bottle xx

Hi

Hot water bottle can work well 🙂 it’s been a life saver at times. What does GP say? Have you tried Naproxen? It’s a stronger NSAID which does help some people.

If it’s suddenly got worse than usual might be worth checking for UTI.

Don’t be worried about going back to the dr. Tell them you want an urgent referral to the pain clinic and check with gynae department that the referral has been received. It’s important not to just assume endo, very easy to do though 🙂

I’m currently on Tramadol, Paracetamol, Amitriptyline (pain dr recommend) and at times Oramorph. They don’t always work that well though.

I have a pelvic scan on Friday but by the sounds of it won’t pick up much unless I have got a cyst or something, my main issue this month is sleeping as pain is worst in bed/at night my lower back is in agony, and pain in legs but that feels more irritating than painful... I also suffer with bloating. Xx

You could ask about Amitriptyline, they use it for nerve pain, but you take it an hour before going to bed as it helps with sleep. Although for me it’s not always the case.

Thank you for replying and the advice, will definitely discuss pain management with the gynaecologist when I have my appointment xxx

Your GP would be your best bet, gynaes aren’t great with painkillers. Depends on how bad you feel, 🤞 not too bad 🙂
