Hi Beth! Its worth a try to see if CBD oil helps you. I regularly use it, but its not a magic solution im afraid. I think it does ease my symptoms, but you need to take it daily and I can't afford to. I find CBD sweets the best way for me to take it. Have a look for the sites Hempura and CBD Asylum. xx

Hi! I have used CBD oil for a new months now and they smooth the pain a little bit, but they are not a cure and a complete treatment unfortunately. for me it helps mostly with dealing with the anxiety that comes with the chronic pain and endometriosis. It also helps relaxing the muscles a little bit. If you have the budget for it, I would give it a try, as I don't think it has many side effects. I hope this helps!

I find it helpful for relaxation and helping to sleep, but to get a clinically effective strength for pain relief is very expensive and there is little to no regulation of products until it is available medically on prescription. You might be lucky and find something that works but beware a lot of marketing spiel with limited evidence to back it up

I’m sorry but my post got removed. Don’t waste your time with cbd from hemp. It doesn’t work for pain. It might make you feel calmer but even that I highly doubt. If you’d like to talk more message me privately. It’s been legal for medical use in the UK since 2018.

Thank you everyone it is much appreciated. I am still on the fence about it. I’m worried about the cost and it not having much benefit. I may give it a go for a month xxx

Hello everyone. I thought it might be helpful to clarify the situation with regards to the use of medicinal cannabis. Cannabis based products have been legalised for the treatment of a small number of conditions in the UK, this does not include chronic pain conditions such as endometriosis. The Nice Guidelines on Cannabis-based Medicinal Products sets this out very clearly nice.org.uk/guidance/ng144. CBD oil and other CBD products are legal. Lynne - Endometriosis UK
