Hello! TTC is a very exciting but yet stressful time! I’m currently trying to conceive too! I started in December. What I have found helpful is to just try and enjoy trying, and to not put pressure on myself. When your period comes it can be upsetting but try not to get too upset. Don’t compare yourself to others as everyone is different!
When you find yourself finding it a bit overwhelming just take a step back and do some self care. I believe positivity is key (which I know can be very hard) and when you are struggling reach out to a friend or family member! Or even on here! It’s always best to talk it out x
Oh I can really relate to this, sorry I don’t have a success story yet...we’ve been trying for a year and the first few months I just cried and cried. I think it does get easier to be kind to ourselves, as time goes on. But the best thing I can offer from my own experience is have a close friend to talk to, have a therapist to work through some of the grief with, and just keep hope in your heart. The endometriosis U.K. site did post a great fertility and endo talk recently which I found really comforting.
We’re not alone, we’re not the only ones going through this. I really wish you all the luck ❤️❤️❤️
I've got endo, PCOS and lost my right fallopian tube due to an ectopic pregnacy March 2019 and I've managed to concieve naturally. The fertility specialist even said i wasn't ovulating in June and July but i managed to concieve in September, he had literally written a precription for some medication to help me ovulate and i found out i was pregnant on the same day so never needed it. I'm now 21 weeks pregnant, so far all healthy and well 🤞. It was a tough journey with some loss along the way and took me almost 3 years to get to this stage. It really can be a waiting game, everyone is different and it can be so lonely at times so always here if you need to chat Xx
Try to remove inflammation from your body with diet and limiting stress make sure your taking vitamin d and folic acid and maybe look into foods supplements that better your egg quality. I know lots of ladies read a book called "its starts with the egg", maybe have a look into that. Like others have said try not to let it stress you out your body doesn't respond well to stress xx
My endo got a lot worse after I had my 2nd baby. I was losing huge clots of blood. Plus I started with rectal bleeding. I ended up having an emergency hysterectomy at: 28 years old.I am now 65 years old and still have rectal bleeding. regards, Della xx
Hey there,
It's tough trying to conceive, and you really have to make sure you take care of yourself. My husband and I were trying for about a year when we were referred to an IVF clinic due to previous endo. We agreed that treating the endo would be best before TTC again...It was sad but also a big relief to myself that I finally realised I needed to get better before having a baby...a few weeks later I found out I was pregnant!
Not sure if we just got lucky, or the reduced stress and pressure on myself helped or I had started taking CBD oil a month before? It could have been anything.
I had an amazing pregnancy and now have a gorgeous 8 month old boy - he is amazing! I stopped breastfeeding a month ago and all my endo symptoms have come back and the pain is continuous...I'm now waiting for that initial referral to treat the endo which will be interesting with a little one running around...
I really hope it works out for you Just make sure you take care of yourself and keep talking to your partner and supporting each other.
