Hi newbie here!!

I am waiting on a laparotomy to drain my cysts and have been told that is suspected Endometriosis.

Anyone else scared I have stupid thoughts like if I exercise will it damage my ovaries further thus leading to removal of everything?. I really want children and am a single 31 Yr old worrying about time running out for me.Think I am still processing everything after rushing into A&E for what I thought was appendicitis.

HiDo you know when your op will be yet?

If you make a list of queries like exercise I’m sure your GP can help. I don’t think I’ve had cysts so I can’t help specifically. If I have it’s just got mixed up with everything else.

The A&E/appendix thing is very common and gynae conditions get mixed up with it. Over the years I’ve ended up in hospital only for period to start.

🤞 you don’t have to wait too long

Hi i have had cysts got rushed into A&E and cysts were 12cm and 10cm on each ovary. Got admitted and had emergency surgery to remove both as they where so large and pushing on my kidney both endometriosis.

I have since had 2 other surgeries to remove cysts and endometriosis. Whilst waiting for these surgeries i was told that exercise is ok as long as not in to much pain and don’t over do it.

I have had 4 surgeries for endometriosis all including removing it from my ovaries and they still think theres a chance i can get pregnant naturally.

🤞you get it sorted soon.

Also i find if i have any questions i think of my gp or consultant are happy to answer even if i just email the questions over.
