Hello, has anyone had endo cause bladder issues?
For me I feel like I have a UTI, but I don’t. Sometimes the pain is excruciating but doesn’t seem to be linked to my cycle.
I don’t know if it’s endo or another problem.

Hi 😊Yes I have bladder issues and I've had them for such a long time before being diagnosed with endometriosis. On ultrasounds they picked up a large endometrioma growing into my bladder. I was always laughed at by my friends for needing to wee all the time or I could go for a wee and two minutes later feel like I had a full bladder again. The past year my symptoms have worsened and I have unbearable pain during PMT when going for a wee. I would say it's definitely a good bet to mention any symptoms to your doctor and they may do an ultrasound to rule anything out.
Take care. Best wishes x
Thanks for your reply 😊.
I’ve also had peeing issues for years with going to the loo a lot and then feeling I need it again straight after. It became funny to my friends and partner also! However over the past year the pain when peeing has started happening every few weeks for about a week.
I hadn’t really been keeping track of if it went with my cycles until recently but I noticed last time the pain was worse 1 week before my period, but fine on the next cycle before my period. I then had pain again 1 week before ovulation.
I had an ultrasound a year ago for other pelvic pain I was having in the lower right side and they said it was ‘borderline’ and it looked like there may be extra fluids possibly pointing to endo. My referral was finally sent to a gynae recently but they didn’t send the scans and just wrote a letter saying it was normal. So frustrating! So they’re now putting me on the pill so see if it makes a difference.
Have you found any treatments helpful for you?
Take care too xx
Hi, sorry for the late reply. I had surgery on the 31st to remove my endo but they ended up needing to do surgery on my bladder to as they found a big nodule in my bladder and making my womb stick to other parts of me inside.
I never found anything that really truly worked but I did stop drinking caffeine which did make me go for a wee slightly less.
If you still think something isn't right please push the doctors as they told me I just had irritable bladder however many years ago and now I'm recovering from surgery with a catheter.
Keep an eye on the posts on here they are really helpful.
Take care and best wishes
