the first period after Zoladex 10.8

Hi all, I am 28 . I have stage 4 endometriosis. I was injected Zoladex 10.8, three months ago.

Now , I want to know , How is the first period after Zoladex ? is it painful ?

I am very worried about it . is it terrible ?

Hi. I had a course of Xolodex for 6 months. The first period for me was like any other period I had before zolodex. BUT I would just caution you around pregnancy. You will be super fertile after coming off Zoladex - I was pregnant within 6 weeks! The Gyne couldn’t believe it as i was led to believe that having more children was pretty unlikely. It’s the best thing that happened to me but it may not be the same for someone else, so, I wanted to make sure you knew.

Hi my first period was awful and I ended up in hospital for a few days but it was a bad flare up affecting my kidney as it’s on my left ureter. It’s different for everyone but be prepared it may be more painful or heavy but it may not. X

Hi, Mine did hurt a little but as the mths went on it became as before.I went stayed on Zoladex for 10yrs. Just a 2 mth break to do IVF, which didn't work. Zoladex was the only way I could stay in employment.
