Hello lovely people hope your all keeping safe and well, I’ve just got back from seeing gynaecologist for a follow up from finishing my ‘medical menopause’ treatment, she started off really lovely saying about endo and she understands how bad it is, then the tables turned and she basically said do I want to start a family I said not right now but hopefully in the future she said not that you should feel pressured but it can help endo! Then she said go back on the depo until you plan to have a family but you can’t really be on that long term due to side effects and discharged me back to my gp honestly hitting my head against a wall right now I feel like why do I bother! Don’t know what else to do in constant pain every single day and just feel like I’ve been pushed under the carpet again!

Sorry for the rant ladies just feel really low x

Thank you lovely honestly I got back to work and I just broke down and couldn’t stop crying might sound silly but sometimes all you want is a little empathy, I’m under pain management but because of the current situation they won’t see me again until it’s deemed safe xx

Can you get back in touch with them and tell them you need to be seen regardless of the situation they could do a consultation by phone.Just a little bit of understanding makes all the difference

I hope your feeling a bit brighter now

Have a good evening

Do you know what stage or where in your pelvis the endo was found?

Hi don’t apologise, I think most have been there whether it’s GP or consultant. I’d ask GP for a referral to an endo and fertility specialist and thexpain clinic. Everyday pain is exhausting, you need it dealing with properly, not staying on medication that isn’t designed for long term use. 🤞 you get somewhere very soon
