Prostap - hair loss!

Hi, new to this forum. Im 25, currently on prostap for my endo and I’m two injections in now. Struggling with hot flushes and mood changes which is affecting my work so I’ve had to take some time off. I’ve started to notice it looks like my hair line in receding. Has anyone else experiences this? Thanks!

You can get hair loss while on prostap.......have you got an information leaflet to check side effects?

I've had 2 separate treatments on prostap.....the first time round last year was hard hot flushes night sweats very low mood and joint pain......this time round I'm under a different consultant who has given me HRT as back up and things are much easier.

Did you consultant offer you HRT to help with side effects?

I’ve not got a leaflet unfortunately but I’ll have a google to find it as it was just never mentioned to me. Unfortunately I still haven’t seen a consultant (only spent a few years waiting with numerous cancelled appointments 😂)

I’m really struggling with all of the side effects you’ve mentioned at the moment, please tell me it gets better!! I’ve noticed my usual endo pain maybe getting slightly better but it’s flared up around my usual “ovulation” time now.

Hrt hasn’t been mentioned to me yet but I’m definitely going to mention it next time I go for my injections!

When you go next time make sure you let them know how hard your finding side effects especially if it's affecting your mood.....I felt like a totally different person and not in a good way!!

My joint pain eased but flushes were silly wanted to throw myself in the fridge and was fed up of changing clothes!!!! My new consultant was shocked I'd been given prostap without HRT......(It's only a small amount that they give you just enough to help with side effects but not too much that it kicks endo off.....I'm on 1 tablet and a gel) My periods stopped after 2nd injection and endo pains did ease but still flared when I would have been ovulating an on period.

Yes, i did has 5 shots any on my last one i did notice i was losing my hair, but i bought nails, hair vitamins, also taken vitamins d and fish oil.... And it helps a lot! Also i was feeling exhausted and with the vitamins helps me on those feeling amazing even want do exercise! With the mood well i did felt little bipolar but it doesn't bother me much 😂😂!
