Hope your all coping ok at the moment. Have just had another terrible period after not having one for 7 months again. I’m 50 and have had all the tests to point me in the direction of menopause and yet the useless gyne Drs can’t help. So I have decided to stop seeing them. Have endometriosis and adenomyosis for 30+ years. Ive had it all. Pills/gels U name it. investigations constantly and have been treated like s*** by all of them. Ive been fobbed off and Been spoken down to by so many that I’ve had enough. I will see the private gyne dr For the final time and will discuss with him to have a hysterectomy. The only tiny glimmer of peace I’ve ever had is that on the days I can get out I go and forget the pain. Even if it’s just one day. My little girl is 12 and just started her periods and I’m so worried that she will have this struggle. I really hope that more money will get spent on research. Take care everyone xx

Hi. Sorry to read about your ongoing pain. I'm there right now as well. I'm in my 50s and have been dealing with the same pain and frustrations you have written about. I had a hysterectomy and had multiple endo lesions removed eight years ago. Unfortunately, my doctors—since that time—have gone from saying I'm cured, to the reality that endo can be microscopic (so there's a good chance they can't eradicate all of it), and that it can produce it's own estrogen (which means a hysterectomy may not solve your issues). It is a sad realization that I've had to deal with after going to numerous doctors.
I'm so sorry you're going through this. There are natural things that might help. You're welcome to send me a private message and I can tell you about them. Can't post the links publicly as its against the forum rules. x
