I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this symptom sounds at all like it could be linked to Endo...For as long as I can remember I would occasionally get what I can only describe as a sharp stitch pain all along my lower abdomen/pelvis which could be so intense that it hurts to breath and I would jump if I press there...It seems to be worse on my left side too, I have always put this down to my IBS however I am currently on the nexplanon implant and haven’t had periods for several years after suffering quite badly when I did have them, I have recently been having irregular bleeds and have noticed that this ‘stitch’ pain has been A LOT more frequent since they have re started...has anyone else experienced this symptom, or am I overthinking it?
I’m only asking as I need to take my thoughts that Endometriosis is a possibility to my GP, however I know how dismissive they can be with this and need some reassurance.

For me my bowel symptoms were pretty awful. Mine was left side too where my bowel was joined together with also a cyst on my ovary. It’s only now that I’m post surgery that I realise how much and how much I put up with before complaining. My advice would be if you suspect endo (which is what I ended up doing) do a pain diary. Right down what you feel, what it feels like, (I just did mine in a notepad) how often, how long it lasts for. I even started writing down how it affected me mentally, my mood, also how long I was in the bathroom and how often( if applicable). Sounds tedious but for me it did help not just to narrow down when it was happening but was more evidence to confirm what I worked out before my drs. I ended up going to my dr and saying I have all the symptoms for endo I would like a referral to a gynae I pushed and pushed til I got what I needed. If you get resistance find a new dr 😉😉
