Has anyone suffered from endometriosis that has spread to the chest?

Hi there everyone. I'm currently waiting on major surgery for my severe stage 4 Endometriosis and large endometriomas (as well as my organs being stuck to each other and ovarian cysts!) but I also suffer a lot from breathing problems everytime I have a period. I honestly can barely breathe, as if my chest gets really small and it feel so incredibly heavy. I'm worried the endometriosis may have spread to my chest. Has anyone else had this issue before? I'm scared, I'm confused.. Id just like to hear someone else who's been through something like this. Thank you for reading 🙏💛

Hi. I am experiencing the same as you and my consultant thinks it has spread to my chest (waiting on chest results). I feel constantly breathless and like someone is putting pressure on my rib cage. It tends to flare up badly around ovulation / just before my period but is pretty constant.

I was advised to seek advice asap so if you have a consultant I would go to them asap.

If you haven’t spoken to GP or gynae it’s a good idea to do so.

I sometimes get similar feelings, but nothing showed on MRI, although it doesn’t always any way.

The consultant said he’d look everywhere, so I’m hoping not.

I’ve tried inhalers in the past but did nothing.
