Hi

Sorry for coming back I’m 5 weeks post laparoscopy but still no better feeling really rubbish - can only do a little bit before I feel tired, didn’t wake up until 12.45 today.

Some days I feel really sick get pelvic pain, don’t want to keep going to A&E as what can they do?

I’m on tramadol and oralmorph - I thought I was meant to feel better after op.

Any advice x

It takes a long time to heal inside if you had a lot of excision done, so it could simply be a matter of time and resting whenever you need to, with a little gentle walking for exercise.

Have you tried getting in touch with your gynaecologist? The person who did the surgery (or someone in their team) is the only person who is going to be able to say if what you’re experiencing is concerning. Your GP or A&E won’t know. I was uncomfortable and tired at 5 weeks but definitely not needing tramadol.

Sorry you’re having a rough time x
