Sorry for the moan... been in hospital for 5 days with horrendous pain they did an ultrasound but was clear surprise surprise they all have been in the past, has so many general surgeons see me and all said it’s your endometriosis, explained I am on zodalex injections and waiting for a hysterectomy, day 5 came around and the doctor said I should of been transferred to gyne in another hospital and said it would be hard to get me transferred at that point so sent me home with morphine as only thing keeping things under control, the dr did add if I came back to ask to be transferred to the gyne department and not general surgery (as this is my job apparently)🤣

Had surgery over a year ago things went ok they removed endo and also got adeno and currently in the menopause with these injections, waiting on surgery.

Been home a few days rang my consultants secretary and he’s giving me a call later this week, I just feel so fed up with it all and just wish they would hurry along with my surgery as I can’t stay on morphine.

Just shows the lack of communication that goes on, it’s crazy that you’ve gone through all this. Hope the morphines helping a bit. With you on the surgery front, heaven knows why the gynae didn’t do op whilst you were there, would have saved time. You’ve been in there longer than you would have been for surgery 😂

I know I wasn’t very happy and she knew it 🙈 just felt like I was fighting to be seen by the right people all the time I was in there and yes I know could of had it done, thanks will let you know how the call goes x

Sadly in the NHS, we have to supervise them. Its the annoying reality of the situation. So sorry you're in so much pain. Remember you are not alone. Many of us have had similar issues and are always happy to listen.
