I have suspected endometriosis in the uterus but nothing was seen in my tubes or ovaries. I will have a laparoscopy and I am wondering whether the surgeon can avoid going into ovaries so I don’t lose eggs (have very few left) or if the ovaries are always entered into as part of the laparoscopy.

Personally I asked the consultant to leave my ovaries and remove the adhesions from everywhere else, it is your body so don't be afraid to mention your concerns before the laparoscopy. It sounds like you might have Adenomyosis "Adenomyosis is a condition in which the inner lining of the uterus (the endometrium) breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus (the myometrium)."
