Failed ablation?

I had ablation done on the 9th September and I’m still bleeding, just spotting but it won’t stop. I thought it was because maybe I’m doing too much but surely this should have stopped by now? Also TMI but I had sex for the first time since as thought it had stopped but bled straight after abs now have period pains and more spotting. Is this normal? Surgeon said the bleeding would stop in 2 weeks. I’m scared it will go back on my bowel and I’ll end up having a hysterectomy which I’m trying to avoid

I've not had it done so can't comment from any personal experience . But the fact the Dr told you it would stop after 2 weeks and it hasn't. You should call them up and explain that you are still bleeding. They'll be best placed to help.

Thanks, I did wonder whether to. I’m meant to have a follow up in another 6 weeks but this hasn’t come through yet. Will call his secretary next week
