has anyone ever had a corpus luteum cyst burst?

Ive just spent a week in hospital after a this happened, I lost 400ml of blood in my abdo and required surgery to suction blood and courtirise the ovary.

I get ovulation pain monthly theyre telling me that it can happen again but the only treatments advised in discharge letter are medications I can't have, so I'm just feeling a bit at a loss.
