Hi, I’ve had my second surgery in January due to being diagionised with stage 4 endo - but since the second one I’ve had awful hip and back flank pain! Anyone else have this? And what helps?! Thanks in advance and hope everyone is okay!

Hip pain since surgery endo
hi, I had hip pain after my second lap. Surgeon said that during the op my body had to be moved and put on one side which could've caused nerve damage in the hip. It's been over 2 years since the lap and it's almost back to normal x I also had back flank pain when I had a mirena coil, it disappeared when I had it taken out x
Thanks so much for getting back to me it feels like nerve pain and also get pins and needles a lot more - is this something to do with nerves if you had it? Thanks again for replying x
I had pins and needles too, mine was definitely nerve pain. Upper part of my hip was also numb for a year or so. It does take time to heal. I guess you can take meds if it's really bad (paracetamol or ibuprofen won't help with nerve pain though) x also the pelvic area is like a nerve centre so any operations there are can disturb them x
Yes I think that’s why it’s so bad like pins and needles after exercise and my hip pain is horrid! Did anything help you? Physio?
I actually injured my hamstring in gym because of the hip nerve pain (leg was weaker) and had physio for that. Physio was to fix the hamstring not nerve pain. I did have to use a roller on my hips and it really hurt with nerve pain so I stopped. Best to see physio and get individual advice x
