Advice?

Hi there, I am turning 21, and got diagnosed with Endometriosis today. Going for an ultrascan also, I'm not sure how I feel about having this as apparently it can be difficult to have kids. I know I am young and I don't plan on having kids any time soon but is this something I should worry about?

Hi, I’m 23 and still waiting diagnosis of endo. I know they said it can affect your fertility but I know several people on here that have posted that they are pregnant or there’s treatment such as ivf to support conception.

Have they said you’ll be possibly going for laparoscopic surgery?

Hi, it doesn’t always impact fertility, but an early diagnosis at least means you are aware of the risks and can plan ahead and get treatment to help reduce the risk to your fertility. I wasn’t diagnosed until 35, at which point my fertility has already been impacted and my case is severe stage 4 so you are in a much better position to have an early diagnosis.
