Spotting during ovulation?

So pain etc has been fairly manageable, I've been tracking my cycles (over the past two years) so I can get to know my body better. Well yesterday when it should be my ovulation I bled quite a bit (sorry if tmi) it was like bright red on my pantyliner and when I wiped kind of like the start of a period. It's completely gone today, only lasted like a few hours yesterday. I've only ever had a light spotting around ovulation before, has anyone had one heavier? I kind of feel nauseous, tired and crampy; I did do quite a bit of core exercise yesterday so perhaps it's that!

I have this also, not every month. My doctor wants to do a Hysteroscopy to check for a polyp in my womb. But I’m still waiting for that appointment

Hi bleeding outside of my period always stresses me out, it has happened to me around ovulation.

I have read that bleeding bright red blood at ovulation can be a really healthy sign of fertility. Maybe have a read of the “fifth vital sign” which covers all things periods and fertility.
