I’m back in again at hospital and really struggling to cope, I find it a constant battle every day being in pain with no end in sight.
As some of you may know who read my posts I’m currently waiting for laparoscopy but no idea when this could be after talking to the waiting list team.
Hoping I may get some answers today but don’t hold much hope - really scared about work just told them it’s unlikely I’ll be in but for how long is this to go on for

I am the same, in pain every day along with other issues and it’s a never ending nightmare to say the least.
Where I live the waiting lists are over a year long just to speak to a consultant, then a further wait for surgery.
As you are in hospital tell the consultant exactly how you feel each day, how it impacts on your life. Ask them if they can give you a date for your lap?
We have to push for things with this illness which isn’t right but it’s our life and bodies xx
I physically and mentally for myself and family can’t keep doing this... making a 20min to hospital at goodness knows what time every time I’m not well.
I don’t feel any better if maybe worse, I’ve been really sick and still got pains, on morphine and tramadol.
So sorry to hear you are still struggling. AllthatGlitters is right we have to push for answers. Ops are beginning to happen as the NHS has done a deal with the Private sector suggest you get copy paperwork of all the times you have been admitted to hospital and approach the Patient Association. Are your employers making waves again?
