Hi all, I'm awaiting a consultation to then go onto have a laparoscopy, however in the past 2 weeks I seem to have taken a turn for the worst with my symptoms. I've lost my appetite and I'm feeling really sick. I feel the urge to vomit but I can't and I seem to be having a lot of number 2s which are soft (sorry TMI) but I don't know what to do. I've tried speaking to my doctors but they keep saying "what more can we do, you're waiting for a consultation and lap" but they're not understanding how much this is impacting my day to day life. I'm constantly exhausted, I can't remember the last time I wasn't in agony. I had a urine test and for the past 10 months every test has come back with WBC and traces of blood. My doctor put me on antiobiotics but I knew it wasn't a UTI so I called again today and now they believe the blood traces in the urine are linked to blood on my right ovary or even my bladder. I just feel so helpless, I never thought the pain could take over my life like it is and all they can say is take painkillers and wait. I'm getting to a point where I feel like I'm going to be bed bound and it's hard to not be concerned about how much this could be damaging my body. Has anyone else suffered like this with it?

The gynaecologist suggested to the GP they refer to check to make sure there aren’t other issues, this was after lap and between waiting for next step. There weren’t, but it could be worth raising. It was the not eating and weight loss that eventually prompted them to do something.

Thank you, I'll definitely bring it to their attention if it's not much better by the end of the week! I have blood tests next week so fingers crossed I get some results and maybe things can move a bit quicker.

I feel like this everyday! I can't seem to get any help from my doctor and the excuse seems to be due to covid-19 they can't do anything! I feel helpless. Be kind to yourself. I hope you get some help soon. X

It's horrible isn't it! I can't remember a time where I didn't feel like this, so it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I suppose it's just a bad day today and tomorrow's new day so I'll be more positive! I've tried contacting a private clinic today but unfortunately they're still shut until further notice (due to Covid). I hope you're well and thank you, I appreciate it x

Hi, don’t let them use Covid as an excuse, I managed to get quite a bit done in the last few months. I did have to be very proactive in arrangements, and persistent though.
