Constant vomiting and pain

I’ve been really struggling for over 3 weeks now, initially I was vomiting 20 times a day and in agony, I now have better pain meds after being in and out of hospital with it but still vomit after every time I eat (about an hour later) and this severely increases my pain. I don’t know if anyone had experienced the same or knows anything I could try? I’m so weak and losing weight fast I can’t take anymore.

They think it could be related to Endo on the bowel but I can’t have a laparoscopy until August so they just give pain and sickness meds and send me home xxx

Have they not offered an ultrasound of the tummy in the mean time xxxx

in reply to GoldenGirl2002

What pain meds have you got some can cause quite bad constipation too, xxx

I’ve had an untrasound but they’re still just querying Endo, I was on codeine and morphine but now I’m using paracetamol suppositories as they’re the most effective for me, thank you for all these suggestions x

I find iv paracetamol to be great for pain relief obv can only have this on hospital as its iv. I find morphene very short acting xxxx

This is what I have been given during hospital stays recently and I agree as to how effective it was, which is why I’m trying the suppositories as they are apparently the closest to iv relief that you can be discharged with xxx

I had the same symptoms and was diagnosed/operated afterwards for "endomtrioses at intestins/bowels". Ask however at your doctor doe a CT SCAN to conform this. Ify you have indeed this kind endomtrioses, they will give you special medication and an endometriosis operation will follow within the year.

Be assertive, if not helped. The longer you wait "for treatment of this curable disease" the more it might affect your abilities to have children in the future.

I hope you get the help you need...after all.

Thank you this is actually something I’ve worried about myself, around a year ago I had a CT scan that showed an inflammation around my bowel area but I don’t feel as if the doctors are paying enough attention to how my symptoms relate to this and have only done ultrasounds since. I have got a laparoscopy booked, did you find a particularly effective treatment for you? Xx
