Awaiting scan for endo

I went to the gp finally yesterday after suffering for over 5 months. I get Stabbing pains in my lower abdomen, bum and bits and I get horrible back ache. Worse when I'm due on or on my period and sometimes inbetween. From all the symptoms it seems like I have endo. Shes booking me in for a scan and blood tests and will take it from there.

I'm hopeful they can finally resolve these pains.

Hey 👋🏻 Sounds like endo. A laparoscopy is really the only thing that can confirm if you have endo. However, I’m guessing the GP is starting with less invasive means. An ultrasound doesn’t generally pick up endo but does pick up cysts etc because maybe that’s what’s causing your symptoms. A least you’re getting checked out. Hope all gets sorted soon☺️xx
