Don't know about appointments but things are moving like scans, some clinics, emergency surgery so fingers crossed if we all keep to the guidelines we will gradually get back to some normality.

Hopefully all we can do is all stick together and follow guidelines thank you for reply back

I’m in the North West and have a hospital appointment on 11th June for my endo. I’m ringing them tomorrow to double check that it hasn’t been changed to a telephone appointment due to covid. But as far as I’m aware, at the moment, I’m still going in for it. X

My friend is having her pre op this week and having her surgery in a few weeks time. I am also going in on Sunday to have my scan done, they have been open for 3 weeks now, with social distancing measures. Only one patient in the clinic at a time. You have to wait inside your car and then ring a number that they have provided and they will call you once they have disinfected the area after each patient.

I assume everything is starting up with extra cleaning.

I have a phone appointment next week with endo specialist. Not exactly moving at a quick pace but I think (hope) things are at least starting to move.

I had a phone call from my consultant over a month ago telling me that surgery was starting up again and that admissions would be in touch. I hadn't heard anything so I assumed there had been a delay and I was still a few months away.

Had another phone call on Tuesday this week from admissions, my Covid test is Sunday and my surgery is next Wednesday. Glad to get it done but I have now spiralled into panic to get everything sorted before I go in!

I'm NHS but I'm actually getting my surgery at the private hospital up the road from the NHS hospital.

I can't speak for other locations but things are starting up again and with not much notice :)

Hi,

I had my appointment re-booked for a further post-op review with my surgeon I attended last week so it is happening but only thing was I received the letter in the post the day before I had to attend so keep an eye out for it.

Every case and hospital is different but that’s my recent experience.

Hope you get sorted very soon x

Thank you for reply back good luck with yours x

Hi Jopo2020,

Thanks for your message. The situation is different across the UK at the moment, with some services getting up and running and others still being on hold depending on their Covid 19 situation.

You may wish to join our upcoming webinar on June 15th called "What happens next? Resuming Endometriosis Services." which will look at the landscape for endometriosis treatments as the lockdown eases. You can sign up by visiting endometriosis-uk.org/civicr...
