Endo and Lyme disease

Hi,

Does anyone here with bad endo also suffer from Late Stage Lyme Disease? Not Lyme that was treated straight away but months/years later? Diagnosed with Stage IV endo Apr 17 and Late Stage Lyme in Mar 20. Housebound and unable to function for 4 years. Was ambulanced to hospital early hours Weds and still in here as my RV endo and bowels are absolute nightmare. Two enemas down and still not helped. I feel horrendous 😔 Normally I'm such a positive half glass full person but broke down in tears this morning as feel it's all too much to deal with and at moment it feels like I'm fighting a losing batte 😢 Anyone in remission from LS Lyme who manages both conditions alongside each other have any advice, tips or just some reassurance or hope if you've been where I am and are hopefully now in better place?? Thanks in advance x

I hope you start to feel better soon. I’ve read about Lyme, sounds pretty awful.

I know how bad the bowels can feel though, going through similar, have done for months.

Sorry I can’t help with the Lymes, really hope you feel better soon. With a bit of luck you’ll see a good consultant as well.

Thank you, I haven't been able to find anyone with both conditions. Each one on its own is challenging enough. I seem to have got a 2 for the price of 1 deal on them! 🙈

The bowels are absolute nightmare with endo aren't they?! Especially with RV endo. I've had 2 enemas now and still no proper BM but hopefully being discharged from hospital tomorrow. Thanks for your nice message x

Not pleasant by any stretch, I’m convinced when one issue arises others latch on.

Bowels are dreadful, never expected any of this.

Hope you have a good nights rest.
