Hey everyone. Does anyone have any success stories of pregnancy with stage 4 endometriosis? IVF or naturally, all equally amazing. I'm still waiting on my first ever lap but have bilateral endometrioma and suspected stage 4 endo. It's my birthday in a couple of days - and after discovering I had endo back in Jan, and with surgery scheduled for March, I expected this op to have already been over and done with by now so I could be planning for the future, instead of still being in panic mode (Covid-19 had other plans). This might seem a little self indulgent, but if anyone would be willing to share their success stories I would really appreciate it - and I also hope this thread can maybe help provide some inspiration to anyone who is also worrying about fertility with stage 4 endo, particularly in this awful times. Thanks in advance guys.

Pregnancy with stage 4 endo?
Hi
I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo whilst going through fertility treatment. I had been telling docs since I was 13 that something was wrong. I was 29 when I was diagnosed. They said they saw a small deposit of endo on an internal scan and an endometrioma on one of my ovaries but they were so small that if I wasn’t going through fertility treatment they wouldnt bother doing a lap. I was booked in for surgery 6 months later and they requested an up to date scan before. By then I had large endometriomas on both ovaries, a hydrosalpinx and one of my ovaries seemed to be stuck somewhere it shouldn’t be. Surgery showed up just how extensive it was. My cervix is attached to my colon, one of my ovaries was being strangulated by the tube and my bowel is also attached to my uterus along with various other bits and pieces. They removed the damaged tube to reduce the risks of it affecting the ivf. Removed some adhesions but realistically they couldn’t do much without a team including multiple specialists, and the risk of a colostomy bag. We went ahead with ICSI, as we also had male factor infertility. Our first 2 rounds failed and I had to have a further surgery for a polyp removal in between, but our 3rd round got us our little boy. I had to have an emergency c section which was not ideal as they had already told me they didn’t want to do it due to the increased risks associated with endo, and my organs not being where they should be. Thankfully I had no complications and recovered really well. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Hope this helped x
Hi- I have severe deep infiltrating endo and I managed to conceive naturally after 2.5yrs... they were a real struggle and we also had a failed ivf cycle before it happened. I had an 8cm endometrioma on my ovary when I conceived . It can happen, it is just so hard to stay positive and keep focussed !
Thanks to everyone for sharing their stories! Helps provide a bit of hope.
hi. Hope you are keeping comfortable. In hindsight I obviously have endometriosis but didn't get diagnosed. Had a daughter naturally and then had various endometriosis related problems eventually being told ivf was the only option and a very slim chance as I had deep infiltrated stage 4, full frozen pelvis and bladder bowel both affected. We gave it a go and our first attempt is a happy healthy 10 month old so it can happen even when the odds are against it. Keep positive. Xx
