I have suspected endo and have pretty much all of the symptoms along with a family history.
I’ve been going to the doctors for it for the last five years but have never been diagnosed. I had the implant, combined pill and mini pill but none have really helped.
I’ve had ultrasounds and examinations which came back normal and the doctors will not follow up and can only recommend the coil which I really do not want to have. I just want to know what’s wrong with me.
Does anyone have any advice on what I could do now, I understand sometimes key hole surgery is required to diagnose but I have never had this mentioned to me by any doctors. I’m starting to lose hope that my symptoms will ever stop now.
Many thanks.

Key hole surgery (or laparoscopy), is the only clinical way to confirm an endometriosis diagnosis. Although ultrasound can be used to visualise some lesions, a negative result shouldn't be ruled as a negative diagnosis (NICE).
There are a few routes that you can go down to pursue further investigation, I have linked our help pack on getting diagnosed below.
