Bleeding during sex - possible Endometriosis?

I posted a few days ago to say I have had slight discomfort when urinating and also persistent pelvic aching for the past 5 months. This morning after having sex there was blood on the sheets. This is the first time this has ever happened. I went into full panic mode as I already have very bad health anxiety and have convinced myself I have cancer. They did a blood test, ecg for some chest pain I have been having and a urine test. Blood test came back fine. Some traces of leukocytes in urine but that doesn’t seem to be unusual for me. He sent me off with stronger pain killers and told me to wait for ultrasound. Both my GP and the doctor in A & E suggested endometriosis and told me not to panic too much about cancer. My last smear was November and was normal.

I’m really struggling with the panic I am feeling and the bleeding has just made it so much worse. I’m just wondering if others get bleeding during sex? There was slight discomfort especially during certain positions.

Hi I used to have bleeding with an ex partner who was large! But not with new partner who is smaller. Have you tried lube or a pillow under your hips? Different positions also feel different, go with what's comfortable. Keep a note of where you are in your cycle eg are you ovulating? Fibroids are not endometriosis so could be that? Try some breathing to relax you and some yoga moves before sex that gently stretch your pelvic area a bit wider may help? if you are up to date with smear that's good news. Take care xxx
