Deep shoulder pain during period

Well, I'd certainly heard of endo, but never considered that it could be something I would be considering. I don't have heavy periods, I don't have painful periods.

However, this year I've been having a deep inner pain in my right shoulder, during my period. I've randomly googled it, and am now doing that classic 'google fear' of self-diagnosing. Ha. Whoops.

My question is, considering I don't seem to have any other symptoms, or anything that seems more endo-y, should I consider a doctor visit. Now I understand the internet can't give medical advice, but is there a benefit from going this early on in symptoms.....or would doctors just advise waiting to see if more symptoms ever develop?

Have a chat with doctor, may or may not be related. A diary of the symptoms you are getting is useful.

I haven’t had pain in the shoulder, apart from muscular, but from research it can happen by the looks of it.

Self diagnosis not such a great idea 😀

Ha i agree, but wont/can't consult a doctor until lockdown is over, so I imagine it could be some time. Just finding out what I can for now.

GP’s are still running surgeries, I had face to face last week, at the very least you’ll have a telephone call.

Consultants are a different matter though, not sure how long referrals will take.

I had that and I still have it even my period no longer come with mirina and mini pill.

I didn't have bad pelvic pain but eventually, diagnosed with endo after 14 years.

I would visit a GP to consult.

If the pain is something you want to manage, then use of hotmon might be an option.
