I was wandering if anyone had any ideas what it going on with me.
About a month/five weeks ago I went to me gp as I had: uti type symptoms, feverish symptoms and pain in back and pelvis; I was diagnosed with a kidney infection and put a dose of antibiotics for a week, six days later I returned as the pain was getting worse and spreading to the other side, the gp suspected it could be kidney stones and made me a referral for an ultrasound.
The ultrasound was earlier this week and the only thing it picked up was a cyst on my kidney (apparently its small and it’s pretty normal to have), I have now been finding it much harder to empty my bladder, I have also been getting very bloated and now been struggling to empty my bowels and getting more constipated.
I am getting a bit frustrated as my gp is not being very accommodating and I am slowly developing more symptoms - would be grateful for any suggestions

Sounds like me last year. Saw gynae privately and diagnosed endo. Kept going back lots for what felt like UTI but wasn’t, never offered any explanation.
I didn’t suspect at the time, renal scan showed fibroids, I went to talk to him about those.
Keep persevering, maybe ask GP directly for referral
You’ve just described my endo symptoms.. do you get the burning full bladder but no stinging? Stabbing pains in your groin? A constant sense of your bladder being dragged on?
And then back pain that comes and goes in waves? I was a couple of weeks away from my lap and I’m having to manage my endo pain until the virus is under control. I have confirmed endo via MRI but they can’t see exactly where.
I’m having cameras looking into my bladder when the op happens for suspected internal bladder issues, he also suspects I may have endo on my bladder and bowels.
I’d get yourself referee to an endo specialist don’t let the GP refer you to a normal gynae unit.
And for the pain, hot water bottles, and I have morphine for the flare up days, and over the counter for everyday.
Maybe ask to see a different GP as yours doesn’t seem to be taking your pain seriously.
They ignored me and fobbed me off for 13 years and now I’m in pain every single day, can’t have children and I hate them for it. I knew something was wrong but they didn’t listen.
Thanks everyone! Sorry should have mentioned that I’ve already been diagnosed with endo, I’ve never had these symptoms before though.. hopefully will get another referral and will get some answers x
Make sure you are managing to go to the toilet every day, otherwise problems get worse. Get over the counter mild laxatives, drink loads (4+ litres a day) and keep everything moving. And get yourself to your doctor for follow on care.
