Does anyone get bad cramping or significant back pain a day after a cardio workout or intense exercise?

Hi, yes I used to be crippled with pain either the night of or the day after. I had severe endometriosis that had stuck a lot of organs together, plus it was throughout the rest of my abdomen. The exercise must have been aggravating it. In the year prior to my surgery I learnt what exercises I could and couldn’t do, I kept a record of my pain and exercises I had done so I knew which ones to avoid.

This is really helpful, thank you. I will start to keep a record of what the triggers are. I dont want to do no exercise but need to balance it with the pain it then leads to.

Yes! After about 25 mins, even with light exercise, I have to lie down because my bowel and abdomen flare up in pain. The funny thing is, I did breathwork during a psychotherapy session, which also triggered a flare. I wonder if it’s the exercise or somehow the breathing?
