Good evening lovely ladies hope you are well. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in December 2015 and had a laparoscopy and had ablation to remove the endometriosis and said there was endometriosis on my bowel. I was placed me on decapetyl and later gonapeptyl injections and Tibolone HRT I was on the injections and HRT for a year

In July 2018 I had another laparoscopy and more endo was removed

March 2017 I had a nexplanon implant put into my arm I still had some endometriosis pain but was improved with the implant my periods stopped altogether

2019 I started having night sweats and hot flushes and my own GP thought I was perimenopause and placed me on elleste duet conti HRT tablets

February 26th 2020 I had the implant removed as it was coming up to the 3 years after it was inserted and I thought I would not need the implant in with me taking HRT

Saturday evening 28th March I started bleeding not heavy but there was blood when I wiped myself and my endometriosis pain was really really severe and still is

I rang and spoke with one of the doctors at my surgery and she suggested it may be a good idea to have the implant back in as it probably helped with my endometriosis pain and symptoms, however with the coronavirus going on at the moment I would not be able to have the implant put in until all this virus situation has ended. I asked her if I should continue taking the HRT but she was unsure

I just wondered as I am in so much pain should I stop the HRT

Thank you for taking the time to read my message

Take care of yourselves and stay well and safe

Janet x

I’m not sure what the implant involves, if it’s done at the surgery or not. I started Zoladex last week, no issues with them doing it. It was very quiet.

I was asked if symptoms, luckily not.

Can’t answer re HRT, sorry, I haven’t started it yet. Not sure why they couldn’t answer though, is there a GP that might know a bit more?

Hi sweetheart thank you so much for your reply much appreciated.

The implant is put into your arm at the surgery. I am going to call them again tomorrow as they didn't call me back.

You take care and stay well and safe
