Pain remedies for suspected endo- so painful I cannot sit properly or move as normal.

Hi! I'm new here!! :) I've not been diagnosed with endo (yet) as my doctor doesn't want to scar me so young. Despite fitting a mirena to treat pain, I am in so much pain still that I cannot sit comfortably and can no longer dance as I like to. I have a large cyst on my right ovary that exerts a lot of pressure in my abdomen and am in need of a follow up ultrasound to check it has not grown. Desperate for help, but my gyno won't take any of my calls because of Covid-19. Has anyone had pain like this ( pouch of douglas area- like you've got a sharp, stabbing pole lodged in your abdomen)? Honestly, I've never been pregnant but the pain is so bad sometimes I can't imagine childbirth being much worse!! Does anyone have any remedies to aid me through the coming months of no appointnents? :)

Hi

If you can’t get hold of the consultant speak to your GP, you need to discuss with someone and see what they suggest.

Your surgery will still be operating, might be a call back.

Hi

You should try your GP and see what they suggest because they put me on some good pain killers which don’t get rid of the pain but they take the edge off it. To be honest the most effective thing for me has always been heat not great for being out and about but if you are self isolating because of vivid then sitting with a hot water bottle may help. I’ve also always found tea to be really helpful (although that could be purely psychosomatic).
