Bit more positive,

So I went for my pre-OP this morning, my laparoscopy is scheduled for the 6th april,

obviously I asked the most likely question atm, "coronavirus" effecting my surgery, the nurse has said as we here (in Suffolk) only have a 3 cases as off yet, it's still going ahead, but if things change in the next 19 days then it would be postponed & I would have to re join the waiting list and could be anything up to 3 months AFTER the coronavirus dies out, I feel selfish for even thinking it but we dont even know how long the "coronavirus" is going to be around for could be months I'm tired of waiting & I think my work are tired of it to.

I feel sorry for the girls that have already had theirs cancelled, all this waiting & not knowing has been sending my anxiety through the roof, I haven't left the house in two days 😒😔 anyone else anxiety play up because of worry about endo appointments ?

Sorry to rabble on dont have anyone around that understands any of this talk

I think it’s awful they are cancelling so many at the moment, hopefully yours won’t be. I hadn’t had op before Feb, the thought of psyching myself up and it being postponed was awful, one of the other reasons for paying. I felt stressed when someone else had theirs cancelled a few years back due to beds.

I understand how your feeling and really hope you don’t have to wait.

It might even be worth you calling for any last minute cancellations before the actual date, or letting them know you can (if it’s possible)

Good luck 🤞

That’s the thing people say oh dear never mind but they don’t actually get the whole feeling of devastation we feel. 3 yrs ago my hysterectomy was cancelled after being in the hosp from 7 in the morning, they cancelled it at 4.30. I was mad. Although it was done a month after but this could be years couldn’t it x

I know how you feel.

It’s disappointing and you get yourself ready for surgery, you may be ok though. Just hope no more covid 19 cases in your area come to light.

I am waiting on surgery, no date and told now it will be next year. I could have cried. I want it now. I want my life back. However the world is in crisis so that has to be dealt with first.

Sending you a hug.

Look after yourself, try and stay positive (hard I know), vent on here x
