Hi I started prostap 4 weeks ago only had a 4 week course due to get another one on the 9th as that’s the only time they can fit me in. I finished my period few days before I had it, had another one about 10 days in, an the day I was due to get the injection again I started bleeding. So I’ve had 3 periods in 5 weeks has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Shelly, your period should slow down and stop, when I had them for the first 2 months my period was all over the place my gynae nurse said the prostap will get rid of anything in the womb and then shut down the ovaries like a computer ( I know it sounds weird ) your body will adjust to it and if you start having really bad headaches tell your dr he can give you mirgraine relief tablets as the stopping of the hormone can cause this I hope this helps x
