Fainting and severe head aches every morning

Hi all was wondering if you could give me advice?

I had my laparoscopy done 2 weeks on tuesday and had three cyst removal and removal of endo, I came on my period on friday 21st feb and it has been agonising! It feels like my ovaries are pulsing and cramping like never before and Iv passed out twice now with the pain including this morning. None of my pain relief takes it away, it lasts for up to 3 hours then I am so exhausted I sleep most of the day. Iv also been having migrains that causes me to have blurred vision iv not had this before. I just dont know what to do, is this normal? I banged my head when I passed out this morning too which hurts even more. I was supposed to start my first day back at work today but I couldn't. Any advise would be appreciated xxxxx

Hi,

If you're having terrible headaches with visual symptoms you had better see a GP.

I can't really comment on the nature of your pelvic pain because I don't know exactly what you had done, but the first period post op is frequently quite painful because you have a lot of healing still to take place.

Do see a doctor about the headaches.

I hope your employer will be understanding. Do you have a sick line to cover your absence?
