Wisdom teeth pain along with endo pain?
Hi, I got it first occasionally with my period or right after later with every period. I treated it it disappeared and returned with the period until they had to pull two of them out due to bacterial infection. This was not funny apart from the pain and swelling all lymph glands from ear to neck were inflamed and I could barely swallow. I was on antibiotics for two weeks before they were able to pull the two teeth out. Now, it has moved on to a front tooth. My dentist said she might have to pull this one out, too.
Oh bless.. the ear Gland pain and being able to chew bit is soo difficult...I guess I need to go see the dentist...cos I literally feel like theres no space in my mouth for it to grow
Is it the lower wisdom tooth? Those cause the worst trouble. Mine had no space to grow.
Best is to go to the dentist asap. If that is not possible keep the tooth cool and rinse with chamomile or chlorhexidine. Don't chew or speak too much and avoid hot or spicy food/drinks.
Get well soon!
I had this a few months ago, I tried going to the dentist but they didn't refer me as there's certain criteria I'd have to meet to get them pulled out on the nhs (I live in the UK). I thought I was going crazy and didn't know what to do. Thank goodness it stopped on its own, but itlf it does it again I will be going private as they will end my agony quicker.
Could it be from clenching due to pain/anticipating pain? The reason I ask is I get such tight clenched pain all over including teeth and jaw. I got diagnosed with endo last year and I know I clench so much during periods because of pain and have done for over 20 years that I think my body is a bit stuck in clenching patterns.
I meditate and I’m going to look for a physical therapist who may be familiar with endo to help this.
Hi, I don't think so. These infections arround your period are a result of the weakened immune system caused by the inflammatory processes of the endo. In past I used to get a cold or inflamed glands later abcesses in the midsection and now it is the teeth. If there is a weak spot in my body I will get an infection. I've had the endo pain since age 12 and went undiagnosed and untreated for 30 years.
Try out physical therapy I'm sure it will help you. Massages, exercises for back pain, and pelvic floor exercises work well for me.
It's both my lower wisdom teeth..the right one 3 corners are out ones pushing through my left one I cant see anything but it must be erupting ...
