I was diagnosed with wide spread endometriosis back in September after a lap, after recovery my symptoms seemed to settle down a noticeable amount. However, since Christmas I have started to notice more and more pain returning throughout my cycle and not just around my period. I’m now having cramps again almost daily, with a quite bad pain returning around my hips and down my thighs.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice about what I could do to try to ease these pains. I was discharged by the hospital after my post-op check up and was told to go to my GP if/when the pain returned, but I know that will be a lengthy wait before seeing a specialist again and really don’t want to return to a life almost dependent of pain killers to get through (although it seems like this may just happen)
Sorry for the long post! But any advice would be great!
Thanks!

Hey sorry to hear things are bad again. I was in a similar position after my first op which was in an October and by the Feb I was back at the GP to get the pill to help the problems, which I had been probably having for 4-6 weeks before I went.
Are you on anything to help? Could you ask for a referral back as it’ll take so long and see what happens between now and then? X
Could try the pill or depo with it too. They can give you both, I had the coil with 2 cerezette a day as I was bleeding for so long. That didn’t even stop it!
