endo symptoms..

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone else gets physically sick on their period week? I'm not sure if the pain is just too much and that's what's making me sick but I hate it and wondered if anyone has any advice on things I can do to ease my symptoms?

I literally roll around in tears in pain and it makes me feel almost like I have the flu? It knocks me off my feet and until I get my referrals sorted and sort the next stages of my treatment out with my GP I could really do with some advice on home remedies? If they exist :( :( !!

I’ve just started my period and I’m in so much pain. The nausea and vomiting is horrendous. I was sat on the bathroom floor crying my eyes out for most of the day.

I haven’t found anything to help it yet as I can’t eat. But you’re definitely not alone with this xx

Ah you poor thing. I'm the same - I get mad nausea/vomiting when I'm on my period and just generally a lot in life haha. I find peppermint or ginger (fresh or in tea) both help a little bit, as does Buscopan. I hope you manage to find something that eases the symptoms a little xx

As if the pain isn't bad enough we have all the sickness to deal with!! I'm glad I'm not alone and you know what I'm going through. I have some peppermint tea in the cupboard I'm sure (I'm obsessed with tea lol). Thank you <3 xx

I have the same thing, doesn't matter if i've eaten anything or not. It's been 13 years and I still haven't found an answer other than a hot water bottle and trying to be asleep or at least still and calm somewhere close to a bathroom. The only thing I would advise is slowly drink water even if you're going to throw it up, it's better than throwing up bile. I find teas help after to sooth the stomach but if I drink or eat anything during this it just causes more pain and comes back up fairly quickly.

Also don't try to drive anywhere, yesterday I spent over 5 hours in a service station south of Birmingham throwing up in various bushes and trying to sleep in my car until someone could come and pick me up. My periods are irregular and sometimes symptoms appear very quickly and seemingly at random times.

Sorry this isn't more helpful but if it helps feel free to laugh at me throwing up in bushes in front of some very confused looking dog walkers :)
