Peirod during surgery?

Does anyone know if its okay to have your peirod during surgery? I'm having 2 endometriomas removed in 2 weeks. Though they are irregular I'm due to be on my peirod around this time. I'm going to double check with my doctor but just wondered if anyone else had an idea.

I know it's fine for the lap; I also had a hysteroscopy and they didn't seem bothered about my period! I guess they have ways of coping / cleaning / stemming any bleeding for parts of the operation.

It's probably a good idea to call your specialists secretary and mention it so they can be prepared or rather so they know.

With mine they gave me "period panties" - disposable granny knickers with a pad in to go for my lap and woke with nothing and pad wedged between my legs. They're like really retro styled thick ones so best to bring your own for when you're ready to change after.

Yep it's totally fine. I had mine last time
