I’m after some help and advice please. I had a transvaginal scan a month a ago and this was painful and it had to stopped, a MRI scan was then arranged and I have just had the results back. It has shown that I have a small Endometrioma on my right ovary and a cyst on my left ovary. My question is could I still have endometriosis? Or a least a mild form of it? My periods are not heavy, but painful and irregular. I have severe diahorrhea before and first 2 to 3 days of period which then goes to constipation. Awful back ache which affects my hips I can’t get comfortable to sit or sleep, shooting pains up my bottom and passing wind can sometimes hurt. I have been diagnosed with IBS previously and I thought my bowel could of been affected by endometriosis but the MRI scan didn’t say it had. I’m booked in for a diagnostic laparoscopy but I’m so worried nothing is found and he says I’m wasting his time as the doctor already doesn’t have a good bedside manner, Sorry for long post but any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Thank you for replying. I only have one Endometrioma on one ovary the other is just a cyst which he said he will remove during the lap of it hasn’t already gone. So with even one Endometrioma it could still be stage 3 endometriosis x
I have almost exactly the same issues that you have with the exact same symptoms. I think the scans are enough to at least take a look - even if nothing is found it wouldn't be a waste of time! I know how it feels to think you're being judged by medical professionals though, but don't let it stop you from getting some answers! Best of luck to you.
Thank you. It is reassuring to know that someone has the same symptoms and they’re not all in my head. I’m booked in to have a diagnostic laparoscopy after Christmas. Hopefully will have some answers then. Best of luck to you too x
